Ruth Economy

When I was little, I dreamed of being an artist when I grew up. Never mind that my illustrations of people looked more like potatoes with sticks for arms and legs. I took every art class in school before realizing that maybe a career in fine arts wasn’t for me. Though I loved creative expression, I craved something with a little more structure.

After taking a few years to travel abroad post-high school, I returned home to earn a degree in Interior Design; a field in which I felt provided the perfect balance of creativity and pragmatism. Shortly thereafter, I landed a design position with McNeal & Friends in Fargo, ND, where I was introduced to the wonderful world of custom luxury furniture. During my time there, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in custom upholstery & case good lines, exquisite fabrics, and refined fixtures. I am excited to now offer that knowledge and experience to Grand Forks, ND and the surrounding area.
